| When the Four Seasons opened its doors in 2005, it wasn't marked as a momentous occasion-after all, it was yet another addition (albeit a 5 one) to Central's already packed hotels scene, and located inside the International Finance Centre, one of Hong Kong's many lifestyle malls. Since then, "Spiderman" Alain Robert has scaled walls of the hotel, giving the Four Seasons an odd sort of notoriety. Personally, we care little for stunts and would rather see the hotel for what it is: comfortable, subtly elegant rooms dressed in soothing neutral tones and loaded with high-tech amenities from plasma TVs to DVD players; high-standard, impeccable dining rooms Caprice (French) and Lung King Heen (Chinese); an outdoor infinity-edge pool with an enviable vista of Victoria Harbour; and suites fit for a king (such as the Aqua spa suite, which is equipped with a vitality pool and a private bar). Service is professional and efficient, meaning whatever you need, the staff will provide it before you even think to ask. Now that's something to celebrate. |
