| Zuma, the sibling of the contemporary Japanese restaurant in London, is one of the hottest tickets in town. Its colossal space certainly makes an impression. Kitchen areas are open with sushi and robatayaki (grill) counter seating; in the main areas, which include a sizable terrace, sleek linen-free tables come with comfortable mini armchairs. Sushi hand-rolls are popular, as is the changing platter of three or seven varieties spotlighting whatever's in season. Vegetarian sushi is also listed. A Sunday brunch pulls in crowds that include families, with counters that are loaded with sushi, yakitori skewers, silky tofu, soups and salads. |
