| The Landmark Mandarin Oriental has one of the most holistic spas in town-besides fabulous treatments, there are plenty of yoga and Pilates classes held in studios dedicated to the practices. Once you've worked out in one of the hourly sessions or in the fitness center, retreat to the spa's men or women's lounges, equipped with pools complete with built-in, heated loungers, crystal steam rooms with mother-of-pearl benches, or slip under the steady stream of the huge rain showers. The relaxation rooms are dark and you can spend as long as you want in the quiet confines of the spa post-treatment (perfect for a quickie nap on your first long day in Hong Kong). Traditional Asian therapies include the 60-minute Thai massage (HK$940) or the Chinese acupressure body massage (HK$1,380), as well as European-style high-tech facials like the 80-minute vitamin infusion (HK$1,980) and the 30-minute mini facial (HK$480). Rooms have an Asian feel but the Sanctuary Suite is for the couple that craves both pampering and privacy. |
